Course Description

Please note this course is not being offered in Semester 2, 2017.

Combine your resort management qualifications with a Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation (Dive) to provide you with global career opportunities. You will receive advanced dive training and a Scuba Schools International dive qualification. Practical sessions and subjects which cover diving instruction, night diving and deep-sea dives will develop skills to make you job-ready on graduation. Includes an international study trip.

Entry Requirements for this specialisation:

  • Students are required to be able to complete at least one the following: a 10 minute unaided surface float (treading water), a 200 metre unaided swim or a 300 metre snorkel with mask, snorkel and fins. This requirement also applies to students enrolled in the unit 'Snorkel Guide' as part of the Water Recreation Specialisation.
  • Students are required to undertake a written medical questionnaire and a physical medical examination. Students are able to undertake this examination at our on-site medical Centre.
