Course Description

The Certificate III in Travel is a 19 week, full-time course that delivers comprehensive, hands on training where students gain industry specific knowledge and industry certifications.

The course includes live training on industry reservation systems such as Galileo, Amadeus and Sabre, which are used throughout the industry worldwide. Sales, Australian retail fares, international fare construction, customer relations, destinations and travel products are also covered.

An important element of the course is a number of industry visits and presentations. This is an opportunity to network and develop contacts for future employment. Students are provided with an insight into various travel company environments and potential career paths open to them. Angliss Travel provides comprehensive assistance for students to find suitable job placements.

Full-time students participate in an interstate or overseas trip to give an understanding of travel experiences, trends and career options. Past trips have included Bali, Fiji, New Zealand, Thailand, Vanuatu and Singapore.

Certificate III in Travel:
· 14 Core subjects
· 3 Elective subjects
Enrolment in the nationally accredited Diploma of Tourism or Diploma of Events will be available to graduates of the Certificate III in Travel.
